Job summary

Veolia in Washington, NE38 8QU seeks a Class 2 (Cat C) driver to join our waste management fleet. You will drive to planned collection locations, move and empty containers, and ensure all data is entered into the onboard system with daily paperwork. Expect early starts around 3 am, 48 hours per week, and a schedule including some Saturdays on a 1-in-13 rotation.

22 days leave and pension available. We value reliability, safety, and adherence to traffic laws, with opportunities for ongoing

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Digi/Tachograph card required.
• Experience in waste management or logistics.
• Experience with RORO or skip operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Enter all information into the onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with all traffic laws and vehicle weight limits.

What you'll be doing

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we're looking for

• Class 2 (Cat C) license
• Digi / Tachograph Card
• Experience in a similar industry; Waste Management & Logistics
• Ideally you will have previous experience with RORO and Skip
