Job summary

Veolia UK is hiring for a role in Tonbridge requiring a Class 2 (Cat C) licence, current CPC, and Digi/Tachograph card. You will drive to collection points, log all data in the onboard system, and perform daily vehicle checks. Candidates should be flexible with hours and live near Tonbridge.

The role offers 48 hours/week with shifts from early mornings and a strong benefits package including pension, leave, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Current CPC qualification (certificate).
• Digi/Tachograph card holder.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple waste containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and keep paperwork up to date.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and weight/loads requirements.

Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, mostly 4am starts

Some days you will be asked to start later so you must be flexible with working hours

What you’ll be doing;

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

What we’re looking for;

Essential:

• Class 2 (Cat C) license
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph Card
  

Desirable:

• Experience in a similar industry; Waste Management & Logistics
