Overview

Delivery Driver (3.5 Tonne Van) to join our driving team to deliver our furniture to our customers throughout the UK. Early starts (1am - 2am), late finishes and occasional over-nights (in the hotel). Must have a clean driving license. We are located in a rural area so must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers across the UK (nationwide delivery).
• Represent the company on customer sites with good customer service skills.
• Assemble furniture on site as required (basic DIY skills and ability to use hand tools).
• Ensure correct paperwork, itinerary details, any special delivery instructions, keys, tools and fixings are prepared for each job.
• Maintain excellent timekeeping and a flexible approach to meet deadlines.
• Perform manual handling as required (some heavy lifting).
• Avoid multi-drop deliveries and plan efficient routes.
• Maintain good geographical knowledge of the UK to support delivery planning.

Requirements

• Clean driving licence.
• Experience in a similar role; experience delivering furniture is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow delivery instructions precisely.
