Role

- 3 months with potential extension as well as opportunity to apply for a permanent role

• £14.40 per hour PAYE (Circa £26,9K per annum) or umbrella options available at a slightly higher pay rate with no holiday pay
• Based in Croydon

This is a very rewarding role, although it may have certain challenges. Your day will involve taking residents out and about, providing important exposure to activities and events that promote wellbeing and positively impact people's lives.

Duties

• Drive minibuses
• Work from a passenger list
• Be responsible for vehicle safety
• Carry out safety checks on vehicles
• Lawfully use mobile phones and communicate with team and necessary contacts
• Assist passengers as necessary
• Attend meetings when required
• Undertake other non-passenger duties when required

Must Have's

• "D1" driving license - Minibus / 16 seater license / CPC / Digi Taco
• Able to work during shifts as above
• Willing to undergo a DBS criminal background check
• All documents to confirm right to work and ability to provide last 2 years references

An ideal candidate

• Council environment understanding
• Experience of working within a social setting environment
• Social care / Recycling experience
• Understanding of all necessary vehicle needs
• Ability to create and amend basic maps and photographs using digital tools
