Job description

This full-time, temporary Driver Mate position in Spennymoor involves delivering white goods to customers' homes alongside a driver. Shifts begin at 07:30 and last around ten hours, with weekend work required across a seven-day operation. The role suits someone physically capable of lifting and moving heavy appliances, and who communicates confidently with customers. A friendly, professional manner is essential. Applicants should live within a thirty-minute commute, as public transport cannot guarantee arrival on time.

Pay ranges from £12.81 to £19.22 per hour. A DBS check is completed before starting. Ongoing work is offered through Rapier Employment.

Customer Delivery Assistant / Driver mate Spennymoor £12.81ph - Overtime available (19.22ph overt time rate). Rapier Employment are currently seeking Customer Delivery Assistant for our busy Home Delivery client based in Spennymoor for ongoing work. For this role you will ideally be based within a 30-minute commute of Spennymoor. This role does require weekend work and public transport won't get you there on time.

Role Information:

A usual shift consists of the delivery of white goods to customers in their home alongside a Driver. It is a physically demanding role. You will need to be customer engaging with a friendly, professional personality. This is a 7-day operation and will involve working weekends. A DBS check will be obtained prior to starting. 07:30am starts. Planned 10-hour shifts. 7 day a week operation. 8 hours guaranteed. Shifts booked in advance.
