Job Opportunity: Plant Hire Company Assistant

Lloyd Recruitment Services is working with a leading Plant Hire Company that supplies power tools, small plant machinery, generators, and temporary site cabins/vans throughout Southeast.

The company is based on the outskirts of East Grinstead; therefore, applicants must have a valid driving license.

• Standard working hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (hour lunch)

Regular weekly tasks include:

• Checking, cleaning, and maintaining returned tools for next hire
• Cleaning and valeting cabins after hires
• Ensuring maintenance schedules are completed
• Delivering machinery and cabins to client premises (by van or towing)
• Conducting PAT testing on electrical appliances
• Operating materials handling equipment (forklifts)
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth depot operations

Training and support will be provided in all areas. Relevant crossover experience is beneficial but not essential; a willingness to learn, practical mindset, and team-oriented approach are crucial.
