Position Purpose:

Contribute to the safe and timely movement and transportation of clinical and industrial waste. Work as part of the Transportation team to provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with EU Working Time Directive and ADR Transportation Regulations. Support Service Managers and Coordinators with daily operations, including shift patterns (any 5 from 7, including holidays when required).

Key Job Activities:
  1. Carry out daily schedules according to routes and timings.
  2. Complete documentation related to drivers’ hours and WTD as per legislation and procedures.
  3. Ensure compliance with Road Traffic Act, vehicle regulations, driver’s hours, tachograph records, weight limits, and speed limits.
  4. Follow all ADR/hazardous goods legislation requirements.
  5. Adhere to company standard operating procedures.
  6. Act as a courteous customer contact at delivery points and interact politely with road users.
  7. Attend work instructions, training, and meetings as required.
  8. Perform ad-hoc duties with flexibility regarding working hours and shifts.
  9. Follow management requests, operate professionally, and report incidents promptly.
  10. Conduct vehicle checks before use, report defects via proper documentation.
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent (GCSE).

Experience (EMEAA):

Previous driving experience preferred. Must have LGV Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC. ADR training is a plus.
