Position Purpose:

Contribute to the safe and timely movement of clinical and industrial waste. Work as part of the Transportation team to provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with EU Working Time Directive and ADR Transportation Regulations.

Support Service Managers and Coordinators daily; flexible shift patterns, any 5 from 7 including holidays when required.

Key Job Activities:

• Execute daily schedules with agreed routes and timings.
• Complete documentation related to drivers’ hours and WTD legislation.
• Ensure compliance with Road Traffic Act, vehicle regulations, driver’s hours, tachograph records, weight, and speed limits.
• Follow all ADR/hazardous goods legislation.
• Adhere to company SOPs.
• Act courteously at delivery points, maintaining professionalism with customers and road users.
• Attend training, meetings, and undertake ad-hoc duties as needed.
• Perform vehicle checks before use, report defects promptly.

Education:

High School or equivalent (GCSE)

Experience (EMEAA):

Preferred: previous driving experience. Required: LGV Class 2 Licence, Driver CPC. ADR Training is a plus.
