Job summary

PLUMB CENTRE is seeking a Part Time Delivery Driver (3.5t) in Hoddesdon, EN11 0NR. This 20-hour role (4 hours/day, mornings) is part of a busy branch within the Wolseley Group.

You will deliver plumbing and heating supplies locally, build relationships with customers, perform daily vehicle checks, and assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries. The position requires a full UK driving licence, with multidrop experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Multidrop driving experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and readiness to go.
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling.
• Support with warehouse duties, including unloading stock, picking/packing orders and stock checks.

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Saturday mornings only). This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), mornings. Working pattern will be discussed at interview stage.

As a Part Time Delivery Driver 3.5t joining our team in Hoddesdon, you will:

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area
• Build strong relationships with our customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling
• Support with warehouse duties when you're back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks

So, if you're over the age of 18 and have got:

• A full clean UK Driving Licence
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
