Job summary

Plumb Centre in Hemel Hempstead (HP2 7BJ) is hiring a Part Time Delivery Driver 3.5t for 20 hours (4 hrs/day) in the mornings. You will deliver plumbing and heating supplies locally, build strong customer relationships, and perform daily vehicle checks.

Salary starts at £13,347 with bonus potential and excellent benefits, including annual leave, a generous pension, discounts, wellbeing support, and a Cycle to Work scheme. Working pattern discussed at interview stage.

Qualifications

• A full clean UK Driving Licence is required.
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential.
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure smooth branch operation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area.
• Build strong relationships with our customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and readiness.
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling.
• Support with warehouse duties on return from deliveries, including stock checks and order picking.

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only)

This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), Mornings.

Working pattern will be discussed at interview stage.

As a Part Time Delivery Driver 3.5t joining our team in Hemel Hempstead you will:

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area

• Build strong relationships with our customers

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go

• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling

• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks

So, if you’re over the age of 18 and have got:

• A full clean UK Driving Licence

• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential

• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
