About the role

The Role

Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hires equipment across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure industries to help install trench boxes, including chain slings, manhole lifters, ladders, lifting pins, manhole chain clamps, and counterbalanced davit systems.

The Driver Labourer is responsible for maintaining the workshop and yard areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and hazard-free, with tools stored correctly. They also ensure plant equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned, refuelled, and logged accurately. Additionally, the role involves loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment from customer sites professionally and punctually. On-site, the Driver Labourer may need to demonstrate equipment and complete all related checks and administrative tasks.

About You

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

• Significant experience in a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced depot environment with high attention to detail
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow them
• Full driving licence (essential)
