Job description

Have you worked in a busy team before? Do you have experience of delivering and collecting customer vehicles?

We are looking for a HGV Driver to join our team in Nuneaton on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will be managing deliveries and liaising with customers, ensuring you are updating and assisting with any queries, all while complying with set targets.

Your main areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to:

1. Taking direction from the Branch Manager/Workshop/Parts Controller/Sales Manager
2. Cleaning, valeting, and preparing new and used vehicles to a high standard
3. Operating the steam cleaner and keeping work areas clean and tidy
4. Managing stock of supplies for valeting commercial vehicles
5. Presenting and maintaining vehicle lineup for display standards
6. Starting and maintaining batteries on all stock vehicles
7. Collecting and delivering customer vehicles efficiently and courteously

To perform this role effectively, you should have previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating good attention to detail and excellent customer focus. A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential, including taking ownership of departmental issues.
