Experienced Driver Fitter Full Time

Location: Near Bourne & Market Deeping, Lincolnshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £15 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business in the grounds maintenance and machinery sector. Based on a large site just outside Bourne, this company has built a strong reputation over nearly four decades for delivering exceptional service and high-quality equipment to a wide customer base across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, and surrounding areas.

The Role:

This is a hands-on and varied position suited to someone with mechanical experience and a flexible, proactive attitude. You will be working within a small team and involved in both workshop-based tasks and machinery deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and delivering machinery locally and nationally (7.5 tonne licence required)
  • Preparing and washing down equipment ready for delivery
  • Performing routine maintenance, including oil changes and filter replacements
  • Assisting with general servicing and minor repairs (mainly in the workshop, with occasional on-site work)
  • Supporting the team to maintain high standards of service and presentation
  • Mechanical knowledge (e.g. basic servicing, oil and filter changes)
  • A strong Can Do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, hardworking, and able to manage tasks independently
