Our in-house Driving Academy provides first-class training. Drivers are central to our transport operations, and maintaining high standards of health & safety is essential.
The Driver Development Coach supports the Transport Management Team by ensuring drivers are trained in defensive driving, fuel-efficient techniques, and compliance with legislation. Responsibilities include planning and delivering inductions for new drivers, providing ongoing training, conducting assessments, and delivering CPC training for LGV drivers through online and classroom sessions.
You will also assist our Risk and Compliance Officer in reviewing delivery points for store and Total Platform clients.
Our Distribution operates 24/7, so flexibility to adjust working hours and support other Regional Service Centres, including travel, may be required.
About you
You should be an experienced Class 1 C+E driver with full knowledge of tachograph and Working Time regulations. Experience in coaching, training delivery, especially CPC, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to adapt quickly to changing plans and replan your days effectively is beneficial.
