Job summary

Brakes is recruiting a Class 2 Driver in Reading. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and upholding high food hygiene standards.

You should hold a valid CPC and possess a proactive, detail‑oriented approach, with strong communication and the ability to follow processes in a shift-based environment.

Qualifications

• A qualified Class2 Driver with valid CPC cards and a proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, on time and to high food hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records, complete load plans and build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

Job Description£44,686 per annum (£18.62 per hour) plus a great range of benefits

Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays - 06:00 to 15:30 (Foodservice) OR Monday to Saturday with 1 rest day in the week & perm Sunday off starting between 04:00 - 06:00 (Logistics)
