Job summary

Brakes in Brighton is looking for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products across the local region, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries while upholding food hygiene standards.

You should hold a valid CPC with Class 2 entitlement, plus a proactive approach, strong communication, and flexibility to work a shift system. Brakes offers a pension, generous holiday, and ongoing training as part of our benefits.

£44,000 per annum (£18.80 per hour) plus bonus & a great range of benefits

Starting around 06:00 Monday - Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota (with a rest day in the week 45 hrs pw)

A satisfying role

A key member of our driving team, you'll deliver our fantastic ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers across the local region. You'll make sure everything is delivered safely, on time and to the highest food hygiene standards. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, completing load plans and building positive relationships with your colleagues and customers.
