Job summary

Brakes, part of Sysco, is seeking a Regulated HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver ambient, chilled and frozen goods across the local region from Portbury. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and uphold food hygiene standards while maintaining clear records and load plans.

The role requires a qualified Class 2 Driver with CPC, strong communication and a proactive approach, plus flexibility for shift patterns and Saturdays when needed.

Qualifications

• A qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Commitment to providing the highest standard of service to customers.
• Eye for detail.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Flexibility to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers.
• Ensure deliveries are safe, on time and to high food hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records and complete load plans.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday(1 in 3 Saturdays with a rest day in the week)45hrs per week
• Tuesday to Saturday 45hrs per week

Start time from 04:30 to 06:30 depending on routes allocated
