Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking an HGV Driver to perform national deliveries from Nottingham, delivering to customers with professionalism and safety. You will operate Class 2 trucks and ensure compliance with company policies and the Health & Safety at Work Act.

HGV Driver - Key Duties

• Multiple Nationalcustomer deliveries (average of 1-15 drops daily)
• Drive Company HGV vehicles Class 2 Trucks and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures & legislation
• Provide a professional HGV driving service, to meet & exceed customer expectations
• Comply with the vehicle security and standing procedure at all times
• Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks (reporting defects) prior to the operation of any vehicle
• Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
