Job summary

Brakes, a leading UK food business and part of Sysco GB, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver in Bridgend. Start time 5.30am, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturdays from the Portbury depot. Earn £37,000 plus up to £1,500 attendance bonus.

You will deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products to customers in the local region, ensuring safe, on-time deliveries and adherence to food hygiene standards. You’ll maintain load plans and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Class 2 Driver with valid CPC cards.
• Experience delivering ambient, chilled and frozen products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ambient, chilled and frozen products across the local region.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and to high food hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate records and complete load plans.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
