Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driving Licence required.
• Ideally have 8 months recent driving experience.
• Comfortable working in a highly physical role.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

• Multi drop delivery to pubs and clubs.
• Unload at customer site, mainly kegs of beer.
• Delivering down stairs to cellars.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 4am-8am (annualised hours)
Location: Tingley - WF3 1SP

Overview

We are now looking for a Class 1/Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Multi drop delivery to pubs + clubs
• Between 4-20 drops per day
• Manual handling required – will need to unload at customer site (mainly kegs of beer)
• Delivering down stairs, to cellars etc.

Who this role would suit

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 8 months recent driving experience
• Be happy working in a highly physical role
