Qualifications

• At least 12 months recent Class 1 HGV driving experience.
• Ability to drive articulated curtainsider vehicles.
• Early start between 4 AM - 6 AM (12-hour working days).

Pay Rate: £42,742.39
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Northampton - NN4 7BN
Shift patterns: Rotational | starting between 4am-6AM
Week 1 - 4 days
Week 2 - 4 days
Week 3 - 5 days

We are looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

1. Multi-drop delivery to different sites
2. Between 6-8 drops per day, to and from branches and suppliers
3. Safely and efficiently load and unload products at customer locations
4. Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
5. Comply with health and safety standards at all times, adhering to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

1. Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E)
2. Driver CPC Qualification
3. Digital Tachograph Card
4. At least 12 months recent Class 1 HGV driving experience
5. Ability to drive articulated curtainsider vehicles for Class 1 HGV work
6. Willingness to travel all over the UK for deliveries to different sites
7. Experience in delivering palletized goods
8. Occasional local loads (Friday night outs)
9. Early start between 4 AM - 6 AM (12-hour working days)
10. Participation in the 6 night out drivers scheme
