Pay Rate: £ 38,914

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday (start times between 05.00am-07.00am)
Location: Hebburn - NE31 1SP

We're now looking for a HGV Driver / Dray Person to play a key role at the centre of our drinks delivery operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Completing between 10-17 deliveries of alcoholic drinks to pubs
• Manual handling kegs and barrels weighing up to 120 kgs multiple times a day, working with a driver's mate
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have a minimum of 6 months recent driving experience
• Are comfortable with manual handling items such as kegs and barrels
