Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Driver Category C1 to deliver hire equipment around the local area. Mon–Fri, 07:30–17:00, ~42 hours per week, with flexible/hybrid options where possible. You will be the face of our business, upholding our values and ESG commitments.

The role requires a Cat C1 licence, a valid UK driving licence, and a strong customer focus. You’ll work in a busy environment, supporting the team and customers across local sites.

• Good knowledge of the local area is needed.
• Strong customer focus is essential.
• Experience driving within the UK is preferred.
• Ability to support the ESG Strategy delivery.

Days of work - Mon - Fri, Times 07:30 - 17:00 - 42 hours per week

Based in Bury St Edmunds the role of Driver Category C1 is a busy and productive role. You will be delivering hire equipment around the local area. This role is vital to our operation; you will be the face of our business and a representation of our vision, mission and values.

What you'll need:

• Driving licence
• Cat C1 licence
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Strong customer focus
• Experience driving within the UK
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
