This role involves supporting service users in their daily activities, including transportation to appointments and shopping. We have an exciting opportunity for a driver to support the team in Cherry Tree. This role will support our service users to attend activities including sensory drives, taking and picking up from appointments, home visits, collection of medications and shopping. When working as a driver you will act as a secondary carer for our service users. In addition to a clean licence, you will ideally have experience of working in a similar role in the care sector and have compassion for others.
The role is Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Cherry Tree House is located on the outskirts of Bristol. It offers 24-hour residential social care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, behaviours which may challenge, autistic spectrum conditions and physical health needs.
Cherry Tree House offers a person-centred service and we work in partnership with the people we care for to offer choice, control and active participation in the service, both now and in the future. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with families, care coordinators, and the local disability team. We also work in close partnership with our own clinicians including psychiatrists, psychologists and positive behavioural specialists.
