Job summary

FMG Repair Services Limited in Cardiff seeks an experienced Driver/Valeter to prepare vehicles for handover and manage courtesy cars after repairs. You will drive on site and for local collections, while maintaining high presentation standards and adhering to safety protocols.

• Full UK driving licence is essential.

• Clean and valet customer vehicles after repair for handover.
• Clean and maintain courtesy cars when returned.
• Ensure vehicles meet high presentation standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver/Valeter to join the UK’s leading Accident and Collision Repair specialists in our ever busy site in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and valeting customer vehicles after repair, ready for handover
• Cleaning and maintaining courtesy cars when they are returned
• Ensuring vehicles meet high presentation and quality standards
• Carrying out basic checks on vehicles as required
• Driving duties, including moving vehicles on site or local collections/deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following all health and safety procedures

About You

• Previous experience as a Valeter or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high standards of work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
