Job summary

FMG Repair Services Limited is seeking a Collection & Delivery Driver to join our team in Cambridge. You will collect customer vehicles and deliver them to the Bodyshop for repair, then valet and return them to customers, handling paperwork and payments as required.

You should drive safely and legally, with previous experience in commercial driving or vehicle delivery seen as an advantage. A competitive basic salary and extensive benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial driving / delivering vehicles is advantageous.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and safely.
• Experience with EV/Hybrid/Manual/Automatic transmissions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect customers' vehicles and deliver them to the Bodyshop for repair.
• Valet repaired vehicles and return them to customers.
• Handle paperwork, receipts and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Job description

Salary: £29,823 per annum, plus bonus and excellent company benefits

Hours: 45 hours per week, Mon to Fri 8am to 5.30pm (30 mins lunch)

As part of a team of professional drivers you are a critical to the smooth running of the operation. The Collection & Delivery Driver's job is to collect customers vehicles and deliver them to the Bodyshop for repair. Once repaired your job is to valet and deliver them back to the customer. Customers trust us, so you will always be professional, providing a first-class service every time. It is also important that you drive vehicles in a safe and lawful manner, considering weather and traffic conditions. You will be required to complete all necessary paperwork, collect payments and receipts, report accidents/incidents and comply fully with health and safety legislation. Previous experience commercial driving / delivering vehicles of all makes/marques including EV/Hybrid/Manual/Automatic would be an advantage.
