Job summary

FedEx is looking for Drivers to join our Maidstone team. You’ll be a FedEx driver within our Linehaul fleet, moving freight between FedEx locations or to our customers’ locations with no loading and unloading. There may be some external customers that require unloading/loading on day shift.

Working hours are 48 per week with a shift pattern to be confirmed. Salary is £15.14 per hour, with premia £1.63 (7pm-10pm) and £1.97 (10pm-6am).

Qualifications

• Full valid LGV C+E licence with Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Move freight between FedEx locations or to customers’ locations.
• Ensure security of the vehicle and freight.
• No multi drop.
• Complete procedural checks on the vehicle.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.

We are looking for Drivers to join our team at Maidstone. Whether you are fresh from the test centre or have experience, we want to speak to you!

Your role

As a FedEx driver within our Linehaul fleet, you’ll be driving a well‑maintained vehicle from Station to Hubs with no loading and unloading. There may be some external customers that require unloading/loading on the day shift (not multi‑drop).

Working hours:

48 per week

Salary:

£15.14 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.63 per hour), and 10pm - 6am (£1.97 per hour)

What are we looking for?

• A full valid LGV C+E licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Cards
