Job summary

JDP is seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver to join our Cambridge team. You will deliver drainage products to customers across Cambridge and surrounding areas, maintain safe loading and unloading, and provide excellent customer service.

This full-time, Monday to Friday role offers a stable UK-based career with a contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a bonus scheme. You will work with a safety-conscious team committed to quality service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C1 (7.5T) Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good health and safety knowledge for transport operations.
• Understanding of drivers' hours rules and transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5T vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers in Cambridge and surrounding areas.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Load, secure and unload goods safely.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Comply with driver, vehicle and transport legislation.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Plan efficient routes to maximise delivery performance.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.

You'll be delivering drainage products - pipes, fittings & coils for example. We offer Monday to Friday, full time, permanent and secure roles.
