Job summary

JDP is seeking a reliable 7.5T Driver for our Broxburn branch, delivering drainage products to sites across Broxburn/Uphall area. Roles run Monday to Friday, offering work-life balance and the opportunity to be part of a growing UK company.

You will hold a Class C1 (7.5T) licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with a focus on safe driving and excellent customer service. A pension and monthly bonus scheme are included.

Qualifications

• Tachograph card (Digital Tachograph).
• Strong knowledge of drivers hours rules and transport regulations.
• Health & Safety awareness in a driving environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5T vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers across Broxburn/Uphall and surrounding area.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Load, secure and unload goods following safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to maximise delivery performance.
• Support yard operations as required with loading/unloading and housekeeping.

If yes, this could be a great job for you.... this isn't your typical multi drop day. Our drivers represent JDP and are close to our customer, delivering to approx. 6 sites a day. You'll be delivering drainage products - pipes, fittings & coils for example. We offer Monday to Friday, full time, permanent and secure roles. Your Job

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5T vehicle.
• Deliver products to customers throughout Broxburn/Uphall and the surrounding area.
• Complete deliveries accurately and on time.
• Load, secure, and unload goods in line with safety procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Comply with all driver, vehicle, and transport legislation.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to maximise delivery performance.
• Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

• Support yard operations as required, including loading/unloading vehicles, stock handling, housekeeping, and general yard duties.
• Demonstrate flexibility to assist in the yard and warehouse during quieter delivery periods or to support operational needs.

• Valid Class C1 (7.5T) Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a working environment.
• Strong knowledge of drivers' hours rules and transport regulations.
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
