We are seeking aVan Driverto join our Logistics team. They will be working 32 hours a week (4 days per week)

As a Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out all deliveries and collections in a professional, legal, and safe manner, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving:Adhere to all legal requirements and company policies while driving.
  • Loading Products:Accurately load products as per delivery notes.
  • Reporting:Report any accidents or incidents immediately.
  • Paperwork:Complete and verify all collection paperwork.
  • Vehicle Maintenance:Conduct daily vehicle defect checks and maintain cleanliness.
  • Problem Reporting:Report any issues before leaving customer sites.
  • Identification:Carry photo ID and inform customers about DBS information if required.
  • Uniform:Wear Converge branded uniform at all times.
  • Fork Lift Truck Operation:Operate forklifts if qualified.
  • Flexible Working:Assist in the Converge Operations area when driving work is unavailable.

Measures of Performance:

  • Completion of planned collections and deliveries.
  • Accuracy in collection paperwork.
  • Driving performance and safety.

Person Specification:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Basic Maths and English skill

Desired Qualifications:

  • VNA/FLT license
  • Experience with hand-held scanners for electronic proof of delivery

Job Details: 4 days from - Monday - Friday
