Job summary

GI Group Main Account is recruiting for Car Compound Drivers at Portbury Dock, near Bristol. You’ll handle outdoor vehicle movements, perform quick checks, and park vehicles accurately while following site rules.

This role offers a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity with training and ongoing onsite support, appealing to drivers who enjoy real-world outdoor work and strong attention to safety. Weekly pay applies.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (Cat B) with up to 6 penalty points.
• Reliable and punctual with good safety awareness.
• Comfortable driving manual, automatic and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Safely moving and parking vehicles across the compound/port site.
• Completing quick vehicle checks before & after moves.
• Parking accurately using bay numbers, maps and site procedures.
• Working as part of a fast-paced team.
• Following all safety and site rules at all times.

Driver - Car Compound Drivers Wanted!

£12.71 per hour

Mon-Fri: 7:30am-5:00pm (day shifts only)

Gi Group is recruiting Drivers for a leading automotive logistics company at Portbury Dock (near Bristol). If you enjoy working outdoors, you're a confident driver, and you want a long-term opportunity in vehicle logistics-this one's for you!

What you'll be doing:

• Safely moving and parking vehicles across the compound/port site
• Completing quick vehicle checks before & after moves
• Parking accurately using bay numbers, maps and site procedures
• Working as part of a fast-paced team
• Following all safety and site rules at all times

What you'll need:

• Full UK manual licence (Cat B)

• Vehicle handling/yard driving experience is a bonus (not essential)
