Job summary

GAP Group is seeking a Driver to join our Welfare Services division. You will load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites across the UK, performing demonstrations when required and completing all checks and administration accurately.

The ideal candidate has hands-on driving experience in a similar environment, a full UK driving licence, and a commitment to Health & Safety. Excellent customer service and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow them in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites.
• Carry out hire equipment demonstrations on customer sites when required.

Our Welfare Services division hires a range of portable chemical toilets and ADA approved wheelchair access units alongside mobile eco welfare units.

The Role:

Our Drivers are responsible for the loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer sites in a timely and professional manner. When on customer sites, there may be a requirement to carry out hire equipment demonstration and Drivers must ensure that all relevant checks and administration involved for the hire are completed accurately.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Significant experience working within a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in towing and a digital tachograph card are desirable
• An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
