Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Driver to support residents with safe transport and accompanying trips. You will maintain a clean vehicle and conduct regular checks to ensure readiness for service, following Care UK procedures. A positive, caring attitude will help residents feel secure and valued during travel.

Applicants must hold a Full UK driving license, be over 21, and have at least two years of licensed driving experience. This role involves on-site work and consistent, dependable availability.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Must have held a valid license for over 2 years.
• You must be over 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Offer a polite and professional manner and help residents enjoy trips out and they feel safe and secure.
• Maintain the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness in line with vehicle maintenance guidelines.
• Perform regular checks and visual inspections on the vehicle and document in line with Care UK’s procedures.
• Ensure the vehicle is available for servicing, or inspection when required.
• Take responsibility by following tailored plans of assistance for mobility, communication, and physical care.
