Job summary

Iceking Restaurants is inviting applications for a Pret Delivery Driver in Royal Tunbridge Wells to transport handcrafted products to stores and assist in keeping kitchens and customer areas stocked. This role includes vehicle checks, safe loading, and ensuring timely deliveries twice daily.

The position is permanent with hours 5:30am–12:30pm, paying £12.71 per hour plus a weekly mystery shopper bonus, 28 days holiday, and uniform provided.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle safety checks – tyres, fuel levels, wear & tear and cleanliness
• Check orders are complete and correct before leaving the store; communicate with management
• Load van safely and organize deliveries to spoke stores twice per day
• Deliver products to spoke stores ensuring arrival in good order
• Support store team to keep kitchen and customer areas clean and stocked
• Interact with customers and assist with queries on shop floor
• Be an ambassador for the brand in uniform and attitude

About the job:

As a delivery driver for Pret a Manger, you are not just delivering our handcrafted products to our stores. This position will provide variety in your role, whilst making sure you keep our company vehicle clean and tidy. You’ll also support in keeping our in-store kitchens and customer areas are fully stocked, clean and ready for our customers to enjoy.

Your Duties:

• Vehicle safety checks – tyres, fuel levels, wear & tear and cleanliness
• Checking orders are complete and correct before leaving your store, communicating with the management team on shift.
• Loading any van with products in a safe and organised manner.
• Delivering products to our spoke store(s) in a safe manner ensuring you and the products arrive in good order, twice per day.
• Support the store team in keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Support the team in keeping the customer areas clean, tidy and well stocked.
• Interact with customers and support in their queries when on shop floor.
• Be an ambassador for our brand, always looking the part both in uniform and attitude.

Please note: You must be over the age of 21 years and hold a valid UK manual driving licence for a minimum of 2 years due to commercial insurance stipulations, no more than 6 points accepted for minor driving offences and not received a driving ban within the last 5 years.
