Job summary

Brenntag UK & Ireland seeks dedicated HGV drivers to join our London depot. You will be responsible for the safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, working to planned schedules and adhering to policy and procedures.

We require HGV Class 1 or 2 with C+E entitlement and CPC training; ADR certificates are preferable. Strong customer focus, compliance with drivers' hours, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HGV licences with CPC where applicable.
• ADR certificates preferable but training may be provided for right candidate.
• Strong customer focus and ability to communicate with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver hazardous and non-hazardous materials from the London depot.
• Work to planned schedules and follow operational procedures.

Brenntag UK & Ireland (part of the global Brenntag Group) is the market leader in specialty, bulk and packaged chemical distribution. In the UK, we employ circa 1,000 people from 21 strategic sites, three sea-fed facilities and we regularly invest in our dedicated fleet of over 120 vehicles. We serve over 20,000 customer accounts nationwide.

We are recruiting drivers to be based out of our London depot where you'll be responsible for the safe loading and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. You'll be working to planned schedules and agreed policies/operational procedures.

What we're looking for:-

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 License (with C+E/C Entitlement), along with current driver CPC training

• Multi-drop experience - extremely useful

• ADR certificates (all classes less 1 & 7) are preferable, but for the right candidate training could be provided

• A strong customer focus and the ability to communicate with customers and management, to deliver the product safely

• Ability to demonstrate great awareness of drivers' hours legislation and good record keeping skills

• You to contribute to the safe operational effectiveness and efficiency of the depot, through following procedures and working as part of a team, to effect on time deliveries
