Job summary

Aspirare Recruitment seeks a driver for 7.5-tonne deliveries in Glasgow and surrounding areas with an immediate start. You will join a professional delivery operation, handling regular multi-drop routes and ensuring cold chain compliance.

Expect a competitive hourly rate and a temp-to-perm pathway for the right candidate, with weekday shifts and consistent daily duties across Glasgow, Ayrshire and Edinburgh regions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles.
• Multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.
• Experience delivering chilled or frozen goods is advantageous.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver chilled and frozen food products across allocated routes.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
• Carry out approximately 20-30 multi-drop deliveries per day.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain temperature, hygiene and food safety records.
• Deliver to stores and depots while providing excellent customer service.
• Follow all transport, health and safety, and food handling procedures.
