Job summary

Stoneacre is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to ensure timely and careful handling of parts, supporting our fast-paced motor group. The role involves loading a company van, delivering parts to workshops and customers, and maintaining excellent service with attention to safety and efficiency.

You will join a team that values reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for training, progression and a supportive pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (max 3 penalty points).
• Flexible with a 'can do' attitude.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy parts.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Take responsibility for own work to the highest standard and work on your own initiative.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Hard working, reliable and trustworthy.
• Over the age of 23 years old due to insurance stipulations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently loading your van with the requested parts.
• Delivering parts to workshops, customers and clients with route planning to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Communicate effectively as part of a team to guarantee loading and offloading.
• Follow all health and safety rules and drive safely and responsibly.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Take care of the Company van, keeping it clean and tidy.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Parts Delivery Driver. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups. As a Stoneacre Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring all of our vehicles are handled and treated with care.

An average day of a Parts Delivery Driver

• Efficiently loading your van with the requested parts


• Delivering parts to our workshops, customers and clients. You will develop your route planning and geographical knowledge to ensure deliveries are made as efficiently as possible.


• Communicate effectively as part of a team to guarantee the efficient loading and offloading of parts.


• You will follow all health and safety rules and regulations in addition to making a commitment to driving safely and responsibly.


• You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service.


• Taking care of your Company van, ensuring it is kept clean and tidy as you would any other workspace.

About you…

• You will hold a Full UK driving Licence (with a maximum of 3 penalty points)


• You will be flexible and have a 'can do' attitude


• You will need to be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy parts when required


• Have the ability to multi task


• Have the ability to take responsibility for your own work to the highest standard and work on your own initiative


• Be self- motivated with the ability to work as part of a team


• You will be hard working, reliable and trustworthy
