ASCO Group is seeking a driver to join our Freight Agency Team in Aberdeen. The role focuses on safe and efficient transport of client freight to and from vessels, using vehicles up to 3500kg dropside trucks.

Occasional deliveries to the west coast of Scotland and minibuses for crew transport may be required. Key responsibilities include vehicle inspections, planning deliveries, securing loads, transporting crew, completing paperwork, and keeping vehicles clean.

Competenze

• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Vehicle Banksman/Forklift spotter.
• Full UK driving license (Category B)

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1630

We are currently seeking a driver to work within our Freight Agency Team and to primarily ensure the safe and efficient transport of client freight from/to vessels and their respective destinations. Driving various vehicles, up to 3500kg dropside trucks. Deliveries to the west coast of Scotland will be required on occasion. Minibuses will also be driven when required to transport crew members to and from vessels, airports, appointments etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organise deliveries to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured and transported safely.
• Ensure crew members are transported safely.
• Complete and file company documents correctly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Full UK driving license (standard UK category B)
• Numerate / literate
