Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Mechanical Fitter for an established engineering company in Poole, Dorset. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week with early finish on Fridays, and offers an hourly rate of £14.48 and an annual salary of £28,253.

You will disassemble, inspect, and rebuild drive system units, using drawings and worksheets. A hands-on team environment and opportunities for growth are highlighted in this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical fitting with drive systems.
• Inquisitive with good eye for detail.
• Comfortable using hand tools such as sockets, screwdrivers and torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and strip units and rebuild with new components.
• Repair or replace damaged parts and inspect/test.
• Work from engineering drawings and worksheets.
• Collaborate with a small team in a hands-on role.
