Job summary

JT Logistics in Derby is actively seeking professional HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing RDC-to-RDC work with a leading online retailer. You will drive brand-new DAF XF trucks, enjoy a mix of day, weekend, and flexible shifts, and contribute to timely deliveries across RDCs.

The role offers ongoing work with induction and assessment prior to start, and competitive pay rates: £16 per hour days, £19.15 per hour Saturdays, £21.15 per hour Sundays.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license
• CPC and Digi Card
• Minimum 1–2 years HGV Class 1 experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles between regional distribution centres (RDCs)
• Ensure timely deliveries while complying with road and company regulations
• Complete all paperwork and use onboard technology for tracking/reporting
• Maintain a professional attitude with clients and team members
• Nights out finishing on a Friday afternoon
