The Role

As a Drilling Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training courses across the organization by designing, developing, and delivering courses and programs in accordance with Fugro training policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with the Fugro Academy Training team to design and develop training programs.
• Deliver Drilling training courses virtually, face-to-face, and online.
• Work closely with Land and Marine Drilling experts to gather technical information for training courses.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to strict Health and Safety guidelines and ensuring the welfare of all attendees.
• Respond to emails from across the organization.
• Update company databases and keep records current.
• This role may require occasional global travel to various Fugro or client offices for training delivery.
• Support other trainers as needed.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience with drilling technology and operations, onshore and/or offshore.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
• Willingness to learn new skills as Fugro Academy develops.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training junior drillers.
• Leadership, mentoring, and management experience.
• Experience in training course design and development processes.
