Draughtsperson

Overview

Our client is looking for a Draughtsperson to join their team in Hampshire, UK. This is a permanent position offering a salary of £37,000 to £40,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

1. Taking R&D drawings and producing pre-production drawings.
2. Overseeing the update of existing drawings.
3. Creating and modifying Bills of Materials (BOMs).
4. Producing and editing MS Excel spreadsheets.
5. Offline programming using Solid CAM for CNC machines.
6. Designing jigs and fixtures for production.

Requirements

• Excellent drawing skills using 2D/3D CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
• Working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Practical experience on the shop floor and understanding of machine and assembly procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Keen to learn new skills.
• Ability to work from concept to product design.
