Duration: 6 months initially
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Polytec are looking for an experienced Draughtsperson for an initial 6-month project for our client based in Ely. You will assist with the review and creation of manufacturing drawings as well as maintenance of legacy documentation.

Responsibilities:
Generating specifications and drawings to recognised standards for precision machined components and fabricated assemblies.
Reviewing and updating legacy documentation.
Assisting with the creation of BOMs and other manufacturing documentation using the MRP system.
Design of derivative products from concept through to production.

Requirements:
HNC or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
Experience using 3D CAD packages, ideally proficient in SolidWorks
Experience using MRP systems.
Strong attention to detail.
