Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Oldham is seeking an experienced Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman to produce precise drawings and support project delivery from design to installation. The role covers commercial, industrial and specialist roofing projects, requiring meticulous attention to detail and strong collaboration with project teams.

The successful candidate will have extensive AutoCAD experience, a solid understanding of roofing systems, and the ability to interpret technical drawings

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and related design software.
• Good understanding of roofing and cladding systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed roofing and cladding drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Develop fabrication, construction, and installation drawings.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, architects, and site teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, standards and regulations.
• Revise and update drawings as projects progress.
• Support material take-offs and technical documentation.
• Assist in resolving design and installation challenges.

Oldham£50,000 - £55,000 per annum

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman to join a growing and well-established construction business based in Oldham. Working on a variety of commercial, industrial, and specialist roofing and cladding projects, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and supporting project delivery from design through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed roofing and cladding drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Develop fabrication, construction, and installation drawings.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.

• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
• Revise and update drawings as projects progress.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
