Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman in Oldham to produce detailed drawings for commercial, industrial and specialist roofing projects. You will support project delivery from design through to installation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of roofing and cladding systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed roofing and cladding drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Develop fabrication, construction, and installation drawings.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, architects, and site teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and industry standards.
• Revise and update drawings as projects progress.
• Support material take-offs and technical documentation where required.
• Assist in resolving design and installation challenges.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roofing & Cladding Draughtsman to join a growing and well-established construction business based in Oldham. Working on a variety of commercial, industrial, and specialist roofing and cladding projects, you will play a key role in producing accurate technical drawings and supporting project delivery from design through to installation.

Key Responsibilities
