Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging and interactive drama lesson plans
• Teach drama classes to students ranging from primary to secondary levels
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate drama productions and performances
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students on their performances and progress
• Assess and evaluate student performances to monitor and track individual progress
• Stay up-to-date with current drama and performing arts educational practices and trends

• Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience as a Drama teacher, preferably in a primary/secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of drama and performing arts curriculum and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom of students and maintain a positive learning environment
• Passion for drama and the ability to inspire and motivate students in their creative endeavours
