This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5). The school has a strong commitment to the performing arts and student creativity.
Responsibilities:
The successful Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster creativity, confidence, and technical proficiency. You will teach a range of dramatic techniques and styles, develop students' performance skills, and create a supportive learning environment. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to school productions and extracurricular activities are key expectations for this Drama Teacher role. Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Drama Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field. Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level is essential. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for theatre are required. Experience directing school productions would be advantageous for this Drama Teacher position.
