Skills and experience
  • be a well-qualified teacher of Drama (or a related subject) with expert knowledge and a passion for performance.
  • have a relevant degree plus undertaken a post graduate programme and hold a QTS.
  • have a record of planning and delivering carefully sequenced lessons.
  • have the ability to teach pupils the knowledge and skills required throughout KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • use assessment to check pupils’ understanding of the Drama curriculum, and to identify and correct misunderstandings and inform teaching.
  • be able to inspire and make positive relationships with students to encourage great learning.
  • have evidence of supporting students to reach their full potential.
  • be a resilient character with a strong personal drive.
  • be a proficient ICT user to enhance their teaching.
