Drama Teacher – North Sheffield | Elevate Supply
Elevate Supply is delighted to be working with a creative and inclusive secondary school in North Sheffield. They are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team after the May half term. This is a brilliant opportunity to bring the performing arts to life and inspire students’ confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills.
???? Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
Contract:Full-time, starting after May half term and continuing through to the end of the academic year, with strong potential for a permanent role from September 2025.
The Role: As a Drama Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging, energetic, and inclusive lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, developing students' performance, communication, and teamwork. You'll work within a thriving Arts department that values expressive learning and creative development.
Your Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
Inspire students to explore performance, improvisation, and theatrical techniques
Support students in the practical and written components of the curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and encouragement
Play an active role in extracurricular activities, school productions, or drama clubs
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
Enthusiasm for the subject and ability to engage all learners
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Previous teaching experience in a UK secondary school is desirable
An enhanced DBS on the update service is required (or willingness to apply through Elevate Supply)
Available full-time and ready to start after the May half term
Access to CPD opportunities and teaching support through Elevate
