Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging drama lessons to students at the primary or secondary level
  2. Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for the subject
  3. Support students in developing their acting and performance skills through activities and exercises
  4. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them reach their full potential
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive drama curriculum
  6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and performance
  7. Stay up-to-date with developments in drama education and incorporate new techniques and resources into teaching practices
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Drama or related field
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  3. Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students
  4. Strong knowledge of drama curriculum and assessment methods
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to inspire and motivate students
  7. Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  8. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population
